Thatchtop Mountain is one of the best venues in Rocky Mountain National Park for multi-pitch ice and consistent cragging. Flowing out of it's east and north faces are many seeps and springs which compose such classics as "All Mixed Up" (III WI4-), the "Loch Vale Gorge" with it's "Mixed Emotions" (WI5), and testpieces such as Necrophilia and Deep Freeze (WI5+).
