Newsflash

The National Park Service closed Trail Ridge Road for the season on Nov. 6th, 2008.

Spearhead
Spearhead at 12,575' is dwarfed where it sits below the imposing north faces of Chiefshead, Pagoda and McHenry's Peak in the upper Glacier Gorge valley. Yet despite being just a "bump" in the midst of these giants, the east face of this spiked monolith is littered with climbable cracks and many of the best multi-pitch alpine routes in the park ascend it's flanks.
