Digital Beacon Search Video
This video demonstrates the basics of searching for a buried person with a digital avalanche beacon.

Eli Helmuth of ClimbingLife set the AMGA exam record (3 buried beacons in a 100m square area at  2min, 33 seconds) wtih a BCA Tracker Beacon.  He broke the record that was set by an IFMGA guide (Steve House) with a Tracker Beacon  and Eli's record was broken by another IFMGA guide (Larry Goldie), also with a Tracker Beacon.  Needles to say, we believe in this product and the Boulder based company that has innovated the digital beacon and other great backcountry ski products in the last few decades.

Eli teaches and coaches in technique refinement in all of the companion rescue techniques with ample practice scenarios.  And more importantly,  learn how to avoid being caught in an avalanche on all of the Avalanche Seminars, Level 1 Avalanche Refresher, Intro to Backcountry Skiing, and Backcountry Skiing Seminars with ClimbingLife Guides.
