The Dragontail Couloir is one of the most accessible and dramatic ski or climbing lines that exist in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.  Skiable for much of the year and with an approach from below or above on Flattop Mountain, this is a steep couloir to remember.  Avalanche danger can be EXTREME at certain times and attention should be paid to the current conditions before considering an ascent or descent of this dramatic snow couloir.
