Rob Coppolillo dropping into the Otis Couloir in RMNP on Jan 26th, 2008

This lesser-known couloir cuts a striking gash at the base of Otis Peak which defines the southern side of the Chaos Canyon in Rocky Mountain National Park. We found more than a foot of creamy powder in this and the adjacent couloirs in this treeline location which was receiving ample wind-deposited snow on this perfect skiing day.
