December 26th is the third anniversary of the Tsunami which wreaked havok in Indonesia, killing almost a quarter million people across many nations and displacing millions more.  This peaceful moment on the beach in Railay, Thailand is in memory to all those who suffered from "the wave". 

The damage done in this specific location in Thailand was minimal compared to the destruction which was almost total on the nearby island of Phi-Phi where thousands of locals and tourists perished on an otherwise beautiful day.  The tsunami which started with an earthquake in the Indian Ocean, spread quickly and quietly in all directions.
